.

Welcome to Japanese-City.com! In June of 2008, we created a web site focused on the incredible Japanese Culture. Week after week, you will find some pretty exciting Japanese events put on by many Japanese Organizations. In the last few years we've been to some pretty amazing events.

Our Mission. It's easy. Find amazing cultural events, festivals, classes, food events and list them for the community. Next, support 100's of Japanese Organizations that work hard to put on these cultural events. Month after month, we'll share some of the most incredible and exciting events from the Japanese Community.

Get Involved. Sign-up and get the latest events, our job is to keep you posted on all new events in the community. We would never reveal your private information and would never sell your email addresses.

Amazing Events. Do you want to learn more about Japanese Arts, Culture or History? We list everything from the latest Japanese Outdoor Festivals, Summer Obon Festivals, Sushi classes, Sake Tasting to outdoor Bento Garden events. How exciting to listen to the thundering sounds of Taiko drums, learn about Sake, see Japanese Art, volunteer at a festival, or experiencing the beauty of a Japanese Garden. We list the latest Sports for your kids. There are so many things to see and do. And most of these events are free.

We Need Your Help. Please come out and actively participate and the community will thrive. These events will change your life, and cultural traditions passed on to your children. Your participation is critical to the continued survival and growth of our Community.

This site is for anyone interested in learning about Japanese Culture. If you are Japanese or non-Japanese there are endless opportunities to learn and get actively involvded in this amazing culture. In 10 months we have listed over 10,000 events.

Doing Things Together as a Family has Great Benefits. There is a benefit to taking your child(ren) along with you to a cultural event. It shows a great importance in helping your child to develop and understand the value and importance of Japanese culture. Don't lose the opportunity by dropping your child off at the baby sitters or grandma's. Go together.

Our Team. You + family + kids + friends + co-workers + our passion. Lets all get out and see what hundreds of organizations and thousands of volunteers are doing to preserve the traditions of the Japanese Community.
