Previous Years Event

During the month of May, Gardena Buddhist Church holds their annual Fujimatsuir Bazaar Festival. This event looks like a smaller version of the summer Obon Festival, with many food, games booths, and entertainment.

The food booth includes tamales with chili, spam musubi, Okinawa Dango, udon, teriyaki chicken and beef, sushi, and drinks. At the entrance is a small plant area. There are several booths for the younger kids, which include fishing, basketball, coin toss, and a bouncer.
