Mark Sunday, October 12 as your special day to experience the joy of Origami, the ancent Japanese art of paperfolding.

Visit The Japanese Garden in Van Nuys and discover how to magically transform your crisp dollar bills into a beautiful butterfly, flower or swan. These make wonderful gifts, tips or donations.

Michael Sanders will display fascinating dollar bill origami at the Genius Bar, perform entertaining origami and hold Q&A sessions. Students are invited to bring their origami projects to Show & Tell.

Ecofriendly origami will feature displays of cranes, dragons and angels folded from recycled advertisements, gift wrap and chocolate wrappers.

Origami videos will feature basic folds, advanced models, paper crane instructions and practical uses for origami.

Amazing origami art will be on display in the gallery of the Administration Building.

$6/general admission, $3/children under 10

Each paid general admission admits one child under 10 free

Refreshments available for an additional fee.
