Obon, or the Bon Festival, is a traditional Japanese observance held over a three-day period in the summer. Obon signifies a time when the spirits of deceased family members are believed to return for a brief visit to the world of the living.
2012 Annual Bon Festival - Limited Admission
To continue to offer our visitors an experience that's intimate, enjoyable and unforgettable, for the first time this year, we are limiting admission to Bon Festival. Tickets will go on sale June 1 through online purchase only and are expected to sell out.
Guests who purchase their Bon Festival tickets before July 15 are automatically entered to win an exclusive Obon Experience package that includes a VIP parking pass and taiko performance seating, festival flex passes, a Morikami membership and more!
Enjoy rousing taiko drum performances, traditional Japanese folk dancing, a street fair with games and more!
